Problems with Matrix

I called the Sony Customer Support number and they told me that there is a problem with the DVD (The Matrix). They (of course) referred me to the DVD manufacturer, which puts me in an infinite loop since the manufacturer tells sony owners to call sony.

I have a Sony S7700, and have had no other problems with any of the 15 dvds
I have. However with the Matrix, I
see red and green horizontal lines flash on the screen. I haven't tried to access any of the special features, which I read can also be a problem with
some Sony dvd players.

Anyone else seen the red/green line problem?
