coaxial to optical - possible?

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98; DigExt):

Dear Everybody,

Maybe I'm lame in this, but I'd like to convert the digital output of my cd-rom to optical to connect to my receiver.
Is there any way to do this?
