Am I crazy for loving "1941"?

I, like most of you, am a huge Speilberg fan. I want his movies on DVD as much as the next guy.
But am I the only one who loves "1941"? This is a fantastic movie. With all the humor I could want from a Akroyd/Belushi flick. (I realize "The Blues Bros." is something more.) "1941" also has some incredible miniature effects, if you like that sort of thing, and enough action to keep me interested. The riot in the L.A. streets is wonderfully choreographed and put together with the finesse that only Speilberg has. The extra 28 min. of footage is good as far as fleshing out the characters and it doesn't bog the movie down and slow down the pace. I don't think there is much you could do to slow down the pace of this carnival.
And the 5.1 soundtrack is a thing of art when looking at it from the standpoint of how well it was remastered. I have never heard so many stereo rear channel effects from such an old soundtrack. Not to mention the LFE (Low Frequency Effects), which are awsome.
I haven't even gotten to John Williams' score. Another brilliant piece of work. I for one am very appreciative of the exellent sound on the music track and the music-only track as well.
The supplemental material is plentiful and informative. I enjoyed watching it and learning about the movie making process and about Mr. Speilberg himself.
All-in-all, I have been a huge fan of this movie since I saw it as a kid. (I'm 28 now) I loved watching it then, and I will love watching it the next time.
Anybody care to comment?
