DTS dropouts

I recently purchased a Sony STRDA30ES reciever. I have a Phillips/Mag DVD 815. I am experiencing dropouts on Steve Miller, Fly like an eagle. It happens only from track track 6 to the end of the disk. Steely Dan, Gaucho does not load and will not play at all. My question is: Are these two problems related and is the problem Reciever, DVD player or DTS disk related?
