HBO's "From the Earth to the Moon"

Many of you will be familiar with Warner group's 4 for 1 DVD offer - buy 4 DVD's released by the group and get one free.

Ordinarily HBO titles would qualify toward the offer, but if you look at the packaging of From the Earth to the Moon, you will see that it does not contain the required proof of purchase tab.

After much telephone tag, I spoke to a representative at Warner who said that I was the first person to raise that with them and that HBO goofed when they did their design. The representative said that they had told their fulfilment house to accept just the original invoice for the purchase of this title to qualify towards the 4 for 1. I also asked whether FETTM counted as 1, 2, 3, or 4 DVD's for the purposes of the offer. Eventually I was told it would have to count as only one.

So there is an added bonus for this superb boxed set. I thought the series was excellent, but I am a sucker for space-related stuff, and the DVD does it full justice.
