Toshiba SD-3000 bypassing region 1 DVD's

Hello Everybody ,

I would like to react on an earlier mail message from a guy who encountered some problems reading the DVD film Waterworld on his Toshiba SD3000 modified player.

I happens to own a similar model and modified as well , I do encounter the same problem as he did. BUT .. there is a way to tackle the problem.

1. load the dvd ( the one that is being refused by the player ) and wait until the unit displays the message " region coding not ......"
2. PRESS EJECT AND IMMEDIATELY PLAY AND STOP. YOUR DISPLAY SHOULD DISPLAY CHAPTER 1 TITLE 1. OKE ??
3. NOW PUSH THE TITLE/CHAPTER BUTTON AND SELECT 1 ON THE KEYPAD FOR TITLE AND CHAPTER AS WELL.
4. PRESS PLAY ....AND VOILA ...
