If you're in the States (code 1) you probably don't need to bypass the regional coding because most of the times Code 1 movies will be released first. (Since Hollywood is in code 1) Even if you want to watch kung fu movies imported from Hong Kong, most of them are "all code", meaning that you can view them using any DVD players.
