Greg,

All DVD-Video discs have to contain either two-channel PCM or Dolby Digital in some form or another. DTS is only an optional format and must be backed up with one which all DVD players can recognise.

: I want to start buying DTS DVD's so that I can watch them in regular suround for now. And have DTS experience when I'm ready to upgrade to a DTS capable player?

Umm… you're not going to have much choice if you wish to buy DTS DVD discs, there is only one region 1 title and one region 2 title. From all accounts they're pretty dire too. Maybe one day there will be more DTS DVD software, but I wouldn't hold your breath and I wouldn't assume it'll be superior to the Dolby Digital counterparts.

Stuart.
