Terminator 2 THX sounds horrible...

I bought this THX DVD the other night thinking it would be a great movie to demo my HT to friends and famiily and to my suprise it soulded like $h!t!! The rear channels hardly received a signal in 5.1 and the LFE was very dissapointing. I switched to THX and then it sounded fine. Have any of you had this problem. All my other DVD's sound incredible in 5.1 DD.
