Posted by Dennis Pagoulatos [IP: 153.37.2.140] on January 22, 1999 at 18:19:41: In Reply to: Terminator 2 THX sounds horrible... posted by Nigel Pond [SysOp] on January 22, 1999 at 15:27:53 You know something though, Nigel...I actually watched parts of this DVD last night, and did notice something that can be nitpicked a little bit...the opening future battle, while a marked improvement over the old DPL Special Edition LD that I have, still suffers from a lot of missing effects...There's a whole lot of action such as explosions on screen and a couple of vehicle crashes, that don't have a proper corresponding "boom" at all...I know, that's the original sound designers' oversight, but heck, this is one complicated mix, an incredible job, and the rest is downright astonishing after all these years...
