Hamburger Hill DVD - Lock Up Problem

I have discovered a problem with Artisan's recently released Hamburger Hill DVD. At the layer change (at around 49:55) the disc locks in my Theta DaViD - just showing still frame of Dylan McDermott's character. Chapter advance or forward scan fixes the problem. I checked with some other DVD players at my dealer at it was ok on the new Sony 7700 and the Denon THX player but locked on 3 Pioneer players, the DV-09, 606 and 414.

Artisan seemed surprised when I mentioned it to them. Can any other Pioneer owners confirm this problem please?
