Monster Cable "Divx Products"

I went to Circuit City today to see how the Divx fiasco is progressing... hanging next to
the Divx players were some Monster Cable brand inconnects that said, "DIVX to
receiver". On closer inspection, one of them just had a DIVX sticker on the front. The
one next to it, however, clearly had a Monster Cable issue front card that said, DIVX
(using the DIVX logo) to AV receiver.By producing "interconnects for DIVX" Monster is giving DIVX what amounts to an
endorsement, and "legitimizes" the product. we should all boycott Monster Cable and
write, email, and tell their dealers of our displeasure, as we should do to any company
endorsing or supporting DIVX. Fortunately, the DIVX display had no action the entire time I was there. Every single
CS employee had a DIVX pin on, though, and there was a white-shirted DIVX
specialist there who approached me. I didn't feel like abusing him (grandma was witing
in the car) so I just left.
