There is a unit on the market which I have bought at Radio Shack (and available at many other stores) known as the Video Brush. It uses a wet brush system to clean the video drum heads far better than a pad system or the built in stiff brush on a "automatic head cleaning system" equipped machine. The RS product number is 44-1203 and is on sale right now for $9.99 through Christmas. I bought several last year as stocking stuffers for my parents, brother and even for myself.
