Pioneer 414 - audio problem

I corrected the problem by plugging the composite audio cables directly into my sony 1015 receiver. They were plugged into the back of my 25xbr.

But have a new problem. Contact dvd show digital artifacts randomly and freezes up about 31 minutes into the disk. I put this dvd into a sony 300 and it plays fine. I am going to exchange the dvd(just did it) and the pioneer 414(my costco currently sold out) and try again
Anyone have this problem. I am going to post this problem seperately after i check the new dvd tonite.

: Just got this unit and am happy with the dvd playback, but 1 audio cd my wife put on, celine dion - these are special times , 2nd track play with a severe crackling sound.
: A replaced cd did the same, and this cd plays fine on my computers cd.
