If I understand you correctly, you have an AC-3 RF out (it should state this exactly in the manual or on the output label). If so, you get DD (new name for AC-3) when connecting to a RF demodulator and DD decoder (present in some recievers). DTS should work as well. Remember DTS is not like DD for Laserdiscs. Regular CD players can play DTS audio Disc without special digital outs. The same goes for LD players (both PCM).
