Sony 7700 ship date?

Saw today at Sony Store in Vancouver B.C. at $1499. They said it's been out for 10 days.

I just bought the 7000 at A&B, but I haven't opened it (my wife's making me wait until Christmas), and I think I might swap it for the 7700. Not sure yet.
