Pioneer DV-606 DVD

Hi

I am planning on purchasing a pioneer DV-606 from earthstations.com for US$430.

I do not have a good hi-fi system, but I do have a mitsubishi 32" wide screen tv with built in Dolby Pro Logic and amp.

I am in New Zealand and it is important for me to have a codefree dvd player as many of the titles available from the rental store are region 1 or region 4 encoded and my flatmate is able to get dvd's from Japan.

From what I understand this player is zone selectable from the remote and has macrovison disabled with a simple mod.

Is anyone else using a 606. As anyone got any suggestions on a different player that or heard of anything bad about these players.
