Panasonic A110 VS. Proscan PS8610P

I was just about to go out and buy the Panasonic A110 when I received the new Audio Magazine Buyer's Guide. I want the A110 for its low cost, audio and video quality, and DTS signal pass capability. I then noticed the Proscan PS8610P for only $549. Is this a correct list price? The Proscan, as listed, states that it is capable of all of the things I would like, plus HDCD decoding and component video outputs - 2 things that the A110 does not list as an offering. First off, has anyone read any reviews of the Proscan unit in terms of its actual video and audio quality? I already know the reviews of the Panasonic units were very good for both the A110 and the A310. Bottom line, I am trying to convince myself that HDCD decoding capability is worth the extra $100 or so. Are there a lot of HDCDs out there and would the quality improvement warrant this ability? Anxious and ready to buy, Pete
