Bring NTSC receiver to UK

Is it possible to use a NTSC receiver ( Yamaha RXV992)in the UK with a Pal TV? I was told that I would need to buy a NTSC--> PAL converter.
My next question is that since my receiver is NTSC, would I be able to use my other NTSC equipments as well-a DVD player, a multi-system vcr and a camcorder by hooking them to my receiver and place the converter between the receiver and the PAL tv? Thanks in advance!!!!
