sony 46xbr35 blue shift

I have a sony 46xbr35 that is 2.5 years old. It is a rear projector and the blue projector (correct word?) has shifted its projection tremendously. If you bump the bottom of the set it will return to normal. I am electronics literate. I pulled the covers off and there was a lot of dust. I cleaned it out but it didnt help. I wiggled wires and so forth to try and isolate the problem but couldnt find a cause. I am wondering of the projectors tube is going bad or if it is something more involved. Any suggestions will be help ful.
