CRT Vs LCD

:The Sony VPHD50Q is probably one of the best crt projectors around for under $10K new.It's selling for right around $8K in most places and sometimes can be found for $6500.
LCD projectors have a lot going for them,except good black level.If picture quality isn't as important as ease of setup,then maybe lcd is your answer.The VPLW400Q by Sony is very good.Color rendition is above average,nowhere near a good crt,but there's always tradeoffs.
I have done a lot of testing with both of the above metioned Sonys,and there's no question that the crt is the better image.With all the memory settings available for different aspect ratios,the simple convergence setup,it's not that difficult to set up.And,it should be able to handle 1080i,which may be the predominent HD format.
