Thanks for your posts. None of them have modification information for the Panasonic A-110, though. I'll keep checking back.Until they do I guess I'll have to use my old Macrovision "filter"... I have a Macrovision "filter" which I bought before I had a laserdisc or dvd player. It works to eliminate the effects of the Macrovision signal in the video signal. I had heard that dvd Macrovision was going to be different and the vcr Macrovision "filter" would not work on it. People were WRONG. It works on dvd too. The "filter" is really a smart amplifier that quickly adjusts the gain of the amplifier to compensate for the fluctuating video signal due to Macrovision signals. I bought it in 1991 for about $50. I have since seen them at Best Buy stores for $29. Mine only works on the composite video signals running through RCA signal cables -- no s-video. I guess this will be my temporary solution to watching untainted signals from my dvd player. I have only tested the system running from my Panasonic A-110 dvd player to the "filter", to my JVC SVHS recorder and then on to the RF connector of my RCA 20" tv. It worked in this configuration with no noticeable picture flaws. Eric : Macrovision modification information can be fou at this address: : www.twi.ch/~i7eberha/eng/codefree505eng.htm
