: I am in market for a FPTV.would like to have LCD , just because of size.Is there any LCD projector any where near CRT.
: Which is the most valued CRT which i might say the most value for the buck
: 'would like to stay less than 10k

There're some new generation LCDs in the market now, all capable of 1024X768. I am using a mitsubishi LVP-X100, which looks great especially using the computer input. You might want to check out the Hughes-JVC DLA-G10, which might be slightly above your budget, but its 1000 ANSI with 1280 resolution.

The major problem with LCD now is contrast rather than resolution. Especially in dark scenes.
