Eric,

There is no need for you to try to disable Macrovision. I was in the same situation with my TV having only RF in. So I used the VCR for the Video-In and had the same MacroVision problems.

My solution was to use an external RF Modulator from Radio Shack ($29). This instantly fixed the problem.
