: I heard that LD players with optical out (such as my Sony MDP-333) will pass only DTS disks audio; not Dolby Digital. The owners manual states that audio will be present on this port unless "you play disks which are not recorded digitally".
: Since Sony has delayed the shipment of my STR-DA50ES receiver; I can't verify this. I have the "Fifth Element" LD with Dolby Digital primed as my first view with the new receiver. Am I in for a disappoinement?
