Elite DV-09 Leveling Problem

Has anyone noticed that the DV-09 will not set level on a level surface? We are a dealer, and have experienced four separate units that "rock" to and fro when placed on a flat, level, surface such as plate glass. It would appear that the variation from level is nearly 3/32nds to 1/8th of an inch. The obvious solution would be to replace the big, fat, feet with TipToes or some such after-market machined, pointed foot (should be done anyway). So, if anyone has found the same on their machine, please report. Thanx!
