I have a superflat Panasonic (32"). As I mentioned in another thread, I really felt (IMHO) that it gave a clearer picture than the WEGA. I had the opportunity to view both side by side. Detial really was superior. But if you stick with the G series Panasonic, IMHO the mitsubishi is a good value ( 0% interest for a year too in some places). the G series is pretty much a good TV with decent clarity, but it seemed no different from almost all of the TV's I looked at (in that range).
The Superflat has the S-VIDEO inputs as mentioned and that's really a minimum requirement in HT these days.
In any case IMO go with the gadgets (SVIDEO PIP) if you're in that 'G' price range as long as there's no quality 'issue' with the line. Good Luck
