Like you, I'm also looking for front projection. The things to consider are not that simple!

What will you watch? TV, Video, Sport,Games, etc.
Do you need Data support (PC presentations etc.)?
What is your budget?
How large an image do you want?
How important is image quality?
Is portability an issue?
How big is your room?
Can your room lighting be easily controlled?

Once you know the answers to these I suggest you find a local dealer who can give you some demos of different products and technologies.

The choice will be probably come down to CRT for quality or LCD for convenience.
