Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 98):

I received my 36XBR200 yesterday from a mail-order warehouse which has so far had excellent customer service. The TV was manufactured in February 1999 (from the label on the back). Here's what I've noticed after a few hours with it:

- very slight bowing on the top (1/16 - 1/8 inch)
- slight screen rotation (NOT picture rotation)
- slightly "pinched" corners
- color darkening in corners

I'm not sure how much of these are just inherent in any TV, but the thing that concerns me most is the color darkening in the corners. This is most obvious by going to P&P mode where there's a smooth gray area across the top and bottom of the screen. Is this color darkening usual? Might this gradually lessen during burn-in? Should I be worried about this?

Thanks for any input...
Bill Brooks.
