My recommendation would be for you to visit some of the local "Audio/Video" Specialty retailers in your area. They typically would have on display, in home-theater like setups, a number of projectors, in various price ranges. They also are usually able to offer good advice as to what would be most appropriate for your specific home theater installation, budget, and other specific requirements.

Dealers who sell the SharpVision home theater front-projector line also sell (and usually have on display) other brands and models of projectors.
