DIVX vs DVD. Who is the winner?

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 95):

DVD said DIVX is redicolous. And DVD is also redicoulus, DIVX said. So what?

TO WHOM STAY OUTSIDE REGION 1 DO NOT BUY THIS KIND OF MEDIA/ MACHINE. Lack of software and English subtitle for outside R-1. !!! Unless much movie available for outside R-1 and have English subtitle as mandatory if original language is not there.

Gentlemen, your support PLEASE for this much deserving case. Thank you.
