Pioneer DV-05,DV-s5,DV-717, same player?

Using Mozilla/4.5 [en] (WinNT; U):

I am looking at the Pioneer elite DV-05 and I have noticed that pioneer have different models for different area of the world that seems to have all the same features and look similar also. They are DV-S5 for Asia and DV-717 for Europe. Are they the same machine, but just marketed differently?
