Sony 61xbr200 video distortion

Using Mozilla/4.04 [en] (Win95; U):

Does anyone have this problem? There are two faint greenish vertical bars about a foot in from the right side of the screen when viewing light blue backgrounds and some scenes as they fade to black.

I've heard from a couple of other people regarding this matter. Technicians are seemingly unable to fix the problem and it may be a design defect. If anyone has more information to add to this I and some others would be grateful. TIA
