S-VHS Y-adapter

You should not use a Y adapter with either S-Video or Composite signals. They are 75 Ohm and need to be properly terminated for proper operation.

My doubler takes composite, S-Video and component and outputs RGBHV to my projector and one could use the S-Video or composite outputs or loop through outputs to go to a normal TV.

You may be able to use the record outputs (VCR1 or VCR2) to feed your TV and the monitor out to feed the projector. You would just have to put the processor in a mode that would send the signal to the TV when needed.
