THIS IS VERY SERIUOS PROBLEM FOR EVERYBODY WHO LIVE ON OUTSIDE OF REGION-1. YOU BUY DVD PLAYER THAT ONLY ABLE TO WATCH FEW MOVIES. YOU THOUGHT MULTI-LANGUAGE/ SUBTITLE BUT ITS ON PARTICULAR DISC ONLY. Friend of mine from India wrote that he have not playback DVD on his Panasonic A-110 one year old. Why? Movie availability is an answer. Similarly what happen in Europe. Only few hundred titles were released. They must modify the player like what you will do. And then must make mail-order to import from North America (US). DVD really make them up side down. Another problem is video format. In North America use NTSC while Europe use PAL mostly. One friend from Hungary make good example about English subtitle. As we know Dracula is eastern Europe ghost story. He like so much "Bram Stoker's Dracula". Could you imagine what he feel when found no English subtitle on that DVD disc. DVD is only for North America market. Pls. forward this thread to you friends as many as possible to avoid misunderstanding about DVD. I saw some posting from North America netters to help to realise this situation. But most of them do not bother.
