I too join the ranks of consumer who do not want to pay for the crappy sound nor do I want it to have that huge box/stand/cabinent underneath it for those crappy speakers crowding my room.

Now that HDTV is here maybe I will finally get one of my wishes....an affordable 16:9 set...now to cutout those speakers manufacturers.
