I know the dv414 did well according to the review on e-town by Kevin Miller but I have read about problems with the forward and reverse scans that they are not smooth and I also read about a problem with audio being off in Twister. The a110 also had some very good reviews see http://www.smr-home-theatre.org/Reviews/Panasonic_DVD/index.html. In this test the individual plays several movies where he has experienced problems with other players which he doesn't see with the a110. These reports have got me more confused as to which is better. The ability to play cdr is nice but not a requirement. The biggest requirement is video and audio quality with no problems.

Also, when is the Sony 7700 available in the US and for how much. I now it is available overseas. I'm not sure if it is worth the extra money and wait considering how much the technology is changing.
