Hi Jason -

The problem you sometimes hear about when using a video game or computer with a large-screen (or even small-screen) TV or projector is called image "retention" (or "burn in"). This when there is a bright image that is on the screen for too long a period of time, without any motion, and it is sometimes "burned into" the phosphors on the TV screen. This type of "burn in" image retention typically only occurs with a TV or projector that uses CRT "tubes". The SharpVision projectors you are referring to utilize solid state "LCD" components in place of the CRT "tubes", and these projectors are virtually immune to this type of "burn in" or image retention.

Thanks for asking, and enjoy your Sharp Projector!

All the best,

- Bruce
