DVD5000 any comments

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; MSN 2.5; Windows 98; Compaq):

I was curious of others opinion of this pricey, yet phenominal DVD player. This is the first DVD player where i was amazed at the difference not only in sound quality, but also picture. We had the Yamaha DVDS700 and DVD5000 both hooked to a Sony 61XBR, Denon AVR5700 and Monster Cable Zseries cables and toggled between the two. WOW, what a difference. I know this is apples and oranges (DVD5000 $2500: DVDS700 $700) but, even a virtually blind person would be able to tell a difference. It was cool. The sound was amazing as well from this 37lb. beast. I quess those denon 24bit DACs are all they are cracked up to be. Let me know your opinions. If you havent checked it out yet, go see!
