24 bit/ 96 kHz Audio

Using Mozilla/4.5 [en] (Win98; I):

What DVD players are capable of passing the 96 kHz/24 bit digital audio data to a receiver. Which receivers can accept this data? Can the Yamaha 2095 accept the digital audio input at the 96 kHz rate? Otherwise I assume the digital data will be down sampled to 48 kHz or sent via analog?
