sony wega: xbr or not?

Using Mozilla/4.03 [en] (Win95; I ;Nav):

what do i need to know to spend the additional $4-500 on a sony wega 36xbr200 over the standard v series wega...

i have read the specs on the sony wega xbr, and viewed the difference at couple stores...but i am having trouble justifying it since the additional features seem to be redundant if i plan on watching dvds and listening to sound through my receiver (instead of the built-in speakers)...

any advice would be helpful & appreciated...
