Pioneer CLD-D504 problems

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98):

I know this is an older player, but I have been experiencing problems recently.

Does anyone know why almost all of my laserdiscs are putting red and blue "specs" on the screen? Especially in the darker areas of the image. I am using a Zenith TV and the NTSC input on the TV. This connection runs through my Onkyo A/V receiver.

Plese help as I don't know what is wrong. I have cleaned the lens and all connections and still no improvement...
