I'm probably in a better situation since technicians are comming home for me. I called them when I experienced audio problems months ago.
But when I've showed them the "lens flair" effect they said: it's normal.
So my latest option if to call Hitachi and put pressure on them and see what they have to say.
What I wanted to confirm was the fact that it was a isolated problem (and it's not from the feedback I've received and saw on other newsgroups).
