Mike is correct, sometimes a widescreen only DVD title will only allow you to play back in that format. However, 'Tomorrow Never Dies' contains two versions of the movie, you should be asked to select which to play back before it begins. Many titles have Pan and Scan versions alongside the widescreen, usually on the reverse of the disc.
