Connecting the Panasonic A310 to Technics SA AX710

Obtained the Panasonic DVD A310 for Christmas and I am still in the process of connecting the DVD player. Here is the problem and would appreciate any help. On the back panel of the Technics SA AX710 AV receiver there are audio and video ports for only a DSS or DVD. Is there a work around for this so I don't have to disconnect and reconnect each time I use the DVD player and the DSS? I am looking for better connection diagrams and directions for the A310 in various component arrangements such as DSS and VCR etc. Thanks for the help.
