I'm exactly in the same situation as you are except that my KV25XBR is still marvellous.Me too I'm puzzled by the WEGA and was disappointed watching sports on the cable.I went back to the store a second time with my wife and she prefered the regular SONY KV36V65 (price not of concern,she's not paying...)We went to another store and fund the TOSHIBA 36CNH97 picture nice but the sound is ordinary as the remote.I'm also concerned of the "moire effect".I'm planning to go back with my video essantial dvd and run the Snell and Wilcox test as suggested by Donald Bennet in this forum to see this artifact that I have not seen on regular programm.Good luck!
