Recommendations for new bigscreen TV

Hi Brian,

Here are a few suggestions for 50" or larger sets:

16:9 Widescreen sets

- Toshiba TW65H80

4:3 sets

- Sony KP-61XBR200
- Sony KP-53XBR200
- Sony KP-61V75
- Sony KP-53V75
- Toshiba TP61H95
- Toshiba TP55H95
- Toshiba TP55H60

Toshiba is also coming out with, I believe, a 56", 16:9, DTV-ready set. In this list, the Toshiba TW65H80 and TP61H95 are DTV-ready and come with a built-in line doubler. The Sony KP-61XBR200 and KP-53XBR200 come with their pseudo-line doubler implementation called DRC. The other sets in the list are regular 4:3 sets with component video input.

There are other brands out there, but the list I give you are models that have given me great results after calibration.
