That's stinks. It seemed like the Hitachi had the best picture of all of the sets I've seen. I was wondering why a lot of places don't carry them any more. I was stuck between a good 36 inch tv or a RPTV. Could you suggest a good set for around 2000-2500?

Also, is the Hitachi problem occur when only using a VCR???
