OK, then I would recommend you go with a 4:3 (not widescreen) set. Either of the two I mentioned before (Sony KP-53V75 or Toshiba TP55H60/H95) are great sets. I would lean toward the Sony set. It is very similar to last year's XBR sets which were one of the best.

Depending on the work that is required for the particular set, the price can go from $250 to $500 or so USD. It will depend on the calibrator in your area. As to what it is, calibration is adjusting your set to follow NTSC standards. You can visit our web site (link below) to find out what can be done. There are many adjustments and tweaks that can be performed to ensure you get the best possible picture your particular set can offer.
