DVL-700 Problem with Dual layer DVD's

Just recently I've had a problem playing the dual layer DVD's (goldish color). It seems like it happens only with discs recently released e.g. Golden Eye is OK, but can't play Deep Impact, Peacemaker, Horse Whisperer. Sometimes the disc will start and then the picture breaks up and the unit freezes or at times, refuses even to read the disc. Doesn't happen with "regular" DVD's nor LD's. Any suggestions?
